Oh man where to do I start???
This book from the beginning to the end was amazing. Very glad that Lindy was able to get her HEA. I mean in book 1 she was just that one person that you just did not. In book 4 I felt sorry for her and by book 6 I was thinking better of her.
The simple fact that she wanted something more and decided to go for it and was not afraid to ask for help and for forgiveness was just huge (in my opinion).
Next we have Crimson....mmmmmm let's take a moment ladies and take him in. Oh yeah TOTALLY HOT, SEXY, ROMANTIC, LOVING, COOKS and CLEANS you can't beat that with a stick....haha!! He spelled for his truemate and here we go. Both he and Lindy had issues with their past but they did not let that get in the way of there future. They left the past where it belongs behind them.
Hot smexy lovin, some tears (for me I am sappy that way), humor. action, drama just what you would expect from an R.E.Butler story. Looking forward to more in this series and all other books written by this talented author. Oh well until the next adventure I will just have to reread all of her books again....*happy sigh*

I like it. It wasn't the worse I read, but it wasn't one I couldn't put down. Crimson is too good to be true. In fact at times I think - really? Who would say that? Crimson agrees with everything Lindy says, and in his eyes Lindy can do no wrong. OK, no one is that way. Only someone who could be walked over. Lindy thinks Crimson is perfect. Ummm - who wouldn't? Even in parts of the book where you think that their may be problems with their families... Nothing really happens.

I actually liked the beginning before Lindy met Crimson. She seemed more real. She had real problems that she was working hard to overcome.
After being disappointed with majority of this series excluding the 1st and 3rd book. I thought the other really BROUGHT IT with this book. The author still kept the "the female was in danger, she was saved, they fell in love and they lived happily ever after" story line but the events weren't predictable. I loved the fact that they didn't jump into the romance scenes so fast and I really love that the author took a woman who be viewed as someone unworthy of being married outside of the book and turned her into a women with self worth and love.
I love all of RE Butler's books, and this one did not disappoint me. Lindy is a wolf shifter who was looking for love in all the wrong places. That is until she had a wake up call. She is ready to turn her life around. It seems like when we search so hard for something we cannot find it. But as soon as you stop looking, there it is. The Wulfen is part Fae and part wolf shifter. I love the Fae people and Fae world the author has brought into this wolf shifter series. I also love how the author keeps characters from past books prominent in the current book. She has created a small community of shifters that I want to continue to know.
Rereading and reviewing this go round. Lindy and her Wulfen mate Crimson bring the wolf mate series to an end. Lindy one of the pack's toys decides she is tired of being the males toy, good enough for a booty call but not a date or a mate. With the help and support of her Alpha"s Lindy and her friends start making changes. Crimson is a Wulfen, fairy and werewolf. He is ready to settle down. Casting the mate spell he finds Lindy seriously injured, taking her come to heal her. A fun, fast paced and steamy love story that brings this series to an end. The last chapter wraps things up nicely.
I love all of R.E. Butler's books but The Wolf's Mate series is probably my favorite. Her newest book Lindy & the Wulfen, is a perfect addition to this series. I enjoyed reading as Lindy became more than just a pack toy but a productive and respected member of her pack. And with her mate Crimson by her side, she was finally able to achieve the HEA she always wanted and deserved.
I found this book to be another enjoyable read. I felt the author did I great job introducing our hero to her readers. So many new and interesting characters added to this series. Even though the heroine was in previous books and not a desirable character, I enjoyed the changes that the she went through to better herself. The story had a lot of action in both realms, with some great sexy scenes. The ending was different compared to all the other books in the series. Different is not bad, I felt it was a great possible ending to the series. I'll have to look into it but I'm really hoping this is not the end to these characters.
